"I was grabbing my hair by the roots thinking why it's not affecting her! But that's also how I knew she was with me for the right reasons," Sumeet added.

The renowned actor also spoke about the moment when he felt Ekta was 'the one for him' and decided to spend the rest of his life with her. "It's not one big moment when you know you've met 'the one'. Sumeet popped the question but with a wrong ring
Sumeet popped the question to Ekta on his birthday. But there was an interesting twist in this proposal. "I slipped a ring on her finger before she could change her mind! I am glad she loved it and has accepted my proposal. Unfortunately, I got the size of the ring wrong, which can be expected from a guy like me," Sumeet told Bombay Times.

Sumeet-Ekta's wedding to be a private affair
The much-in-love couple is quite excited about their D-Day. It is going to be a traditional ceremony in Ekta's native place, Jammu and will be attended by family and close friends. Sumeet told Indian Express, "As I am busy with my shoots, Ekta is managing most of the work. It is going to be a simple wedding. We are really happy about it."
