Sumeet Vyas to marry girlfriend Ekta Kaul in September
Internet sensation Sumeet Vyas is now wooing the movie-going audience. Recently seen in 'Veere Di Wedding' opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sumeet is gradually cementing his place in Bollywood. Thus, the actor believes that it is the right time for him to take the plunge and tie the knot with girlfriend Ekta Kaul. Here's more about it.
Summet and Ekta's will be a traditional Kashmiri wedding
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Sumeet and Ekta's wedding ceremony will take place in Jammu around mid-September. The venue and the final date are yet to be finalized. Ekta's family, who is based out of Jammu, has already started prepping for the big day. Meanwhile, the couple is making sure that their friends from the industry attend the wedding.
Here's what Sumeet had said after getting engaged to Ekta
"I had come out of a marriage, which was a sensitive issue, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to get into another relationship. Now, our families have spoken to each other as well. Everyone is happy," Sumeet had said after his engagement in April.
Meanwhile, 'Veere Di Wedding' emerged a massive hit
Also featuring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, 'Veere Di Wedding' sprung a surprise and proved a huge money-spinner. So far, the film has raked in over Rs. 80 crore at the box office. However, it has slowed down after the release of Salman Khan's 'Race 3'. 'Veere Di Wedding' has been directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
