Why Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj left 'Anupamaa'
Television actor Sudhanshu Pandey recently announced his departure from the popular TV show Anupamaa. Pandey, who portrayed the character of Vanraj Shah, Anupamaa's (Rupali Ganguly) husband, in the show, took to social media on Thursday to share the news. The actor has now opened up about his decision to leave the show, stating that he thought it was time to move on and explore other opportunities.
'God gives you a signal,' says Pandey
Speaking about his decision to leave Anupamaa, Pandey shared with Indian Express, "All I would say is that when it is time for something, God gives you a signal." He added, "I felt it was time and I needed to move on. I was happy for four years, it was a great space to be in. I did a fantastic show, the show did fantastically well for everyone."
'As an artist, one should recognize when to move on...'
Pandey further said, "I had my run for four years and now it is time to move on." He added, "As an artiste one should recognize when it is time to move on and experiment with other things. It is like an artist, when you start making a painting, you enjoy the process, and then there comes a time when you complete it as well and it is time to start another painting. That is what I feel I am."
Pandey addresses rumors of disagreement with co-star Rupali Ganguli
Following Pandey's announcement of his departure from Anupamaa, rumors started circulating that he and co-star Ganguly had several disagreements while shooting. Addressing these rumors, Pandey said, "Actually yeh sab cheesein hoti hai, khali dimaag ke wajeh se hoti hai (all these things happen because people speak without thinking)." "Where do these rumors come from? I don't understand. Iska koi wajood nahi hota hai (there is no substance to it)."
