'Street Dancer': Varun not seriously injured, confirms David Dhawan
Varun Dhawan is an impeccable dancer and he has impressed the audience with his skills time and again. However, the actor, who is preparing for Remo D'Souza's Street Dancer, ended up injuring himself while shooting a dance sequence for the movie. It was reported that Varun sustained serious injury. However, his father David Dhawan quashed the reports and said that it's just a sprain.
The level of dancing in Remo's movie is different: David
There were reports that Varun got his foot fractured while practising a dance step. However, David clarified that Varun didn't suffer any fracture during practice. "How will he fracture his foot during dancing? It's not an action scene. But yes, the level of dancing in Remo's film is something else. You require tremendous dancing skills to try these steps," David told Bollywood Hungama.
David is in awe of Varun's dancing skills
David also lauded Varun's dancing skills and said that he can beat anyone on the dance floor. "My boy can out-dance nearly everybody on the dance floor. He has a natural flair for rhythms," the filmmaker stated. In fact, David also pinned high hopes for Street Dancer and called it a game changer movie as far as dancing in the films are concerned.
