'Stree 2' advance booking opens; special preview timings revealed
Stree 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy hit, Stree, is set to hit theaters on August 15. The film features Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor reprising their roles from the original movie, while Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee are also a part of the cast. Advance booking for the film has now commenced, as announced by the production house Maddock Films on Saturday.

Stree 2 will have special preview shows on August 14, with night shows starting from 9:30 pm. Maddock Films shared a film poster on social media with the caption, "Stree 2 - Advance Booking Open Now. Woh Stree hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai! Isilye woh aa rahi hai ek raat pehle, just for you."
'Stree 2' to face stiff competition at box office
Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan through Maddock Films and Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios. It is set to compete with several other major releases at the box office. In the Hindi belt, these include Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. In the South Indian regions, Tamil superstar Vikram's Thangalaan and Puri Jagannadh's Double iSmart featuring Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt will release the same day.
