Despite facing stiff competition at the box office, the movie has emerged as a clear winner, thanks to its strong advance bookings. Interestingly, the costliest ticket for this film in Mumbai is priced at a whopping ₹2,150.
'Stree 2' ticket costs more than 100 vada pavs
According to the online ticket booking platform BookMyShow, the most expensive ticket for Stree 2 is available at INOX: Insignia at Atria Mall, Worli, Mumbai. The ticket, available in two evening slots, is priced at ₹2,150. And, both the slots are getting filled fast for Thursday. To put it in perspective, one could enjoy over 100 vada pavs, a beloved street food of Mumbaikars, for the same amount.
'Stree 2' continues the eerie tale of its predecessor
Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, continues the narrative of its predecessor, blending folklore, humor, and horror. The sequel surpasses the original in every aspect, delving deeper into the eerie universe of Chanderi. The plot revolves around Vicky (Rao), Bitu (Aparshakti Khurana), Jana (Abhishek Banerjee), and Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi) who team up with Stree and the 'girl with no name' (Kapoor) to protect their village from Sarkata's deadly pursuit.

Stree 2 also features a special appearance by Tamannaah Bhatia, who sets the screen on fire with her dance number Aaj Ki Raat. When asked about her expectations for the film, Kapoor expressed her hope that Stree 2 would receive as much love as the first part did.
