'Stree 2's unstoppable journey: ₹415cr collection in just 13 days
The horror-comedy Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is on the verge of surpassing the Hindi box office record of Yash's KGF 2. The film has shown no signs of slowing down and is expected to enter the ₹420 crore club in its second week. Early estimates by Sacnilk suggest that the film earned ₹11.5 crore on its 13th day, bringing the total collection to ₹414.55 crore.
'Stree 2' day-wise box office collection
Stree 2 has been performing consistently well at the box office since its release. The film opened with a collection of ₹8.5 crore via paid previews and witnessed a significant jump on Day 1, earning ₹51.8 crore. The earnings remained steady over the following days, with the film raking in ₹31.4 crore and ₹43.85 crore on Days 2 and 3, respectively.
'Stree 2' set to surpass 'Animal,' aims for other record-holders
As Stree 2 continues its strong run, it is set to overtake Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, which collected ₹505 crore. The film is also eyeing other box office record-holders such as Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (₹511 crore), Pathaan (₹524 crore), Gadar (₹525 crore), and Jawan (₹584 crore). However, it still needs to be seen whether it'll stay strong in front of new releases.
