'Stree 2' is unstoppable; collects ₹562cr after 35 days
What's the story
The horror-comedy Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is showing no signs of slowing down even in its fifth week.
Not only on weekends but it's earning over ₹1cr on weekdays, too. Currently, it has crossed the ₹560cr mark and is likely to enter the historic ₹600 crore club.
The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.

'Stree 2' rakes in ₹2 crore on Day 35
On its 35th day, Stree 2 collected ₹2 crore, taking its total earnings to ₹562.35 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
The film opened with a collection of ₹8.5 crore (Day 0) and went on to collect ₹51.8 crore and ₹31.4 crore on Days 1 and 2, respectively.
Its collections peaked at ₹55.9 crore on Day 4 before gradually declining over the weeks.

Per Taran Adarsh, 'Stree 2' is highest-grossing Hindi film ever
On Wednesday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced that the horror comedy had become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
He said its Indian net box office collection was a whopping ₹586 crore, with which it surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan at the box office.
The SRK starrer had earned ₹582.31 crore from its Hindi version.
