Record-breaker 'Stree 2' approaches ₹550 crore mark!
The much-hyped horror comedy, Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has broken major box office records for the year 2024. The film has already entered the ₹500 crore club in India and is now steadily nearing the ₹550 crore mark. Early estimates from Sacnilk suggest that Stree 2 garnered ₹3.35 crore on its 30th day, bringing its total collection to a remarkable ₹542.70 crore.
'Stree 2' poised to enter ₹550 crore club; day-wise breakdown
The day-wise box office collection of Stree 2 reveals a robust start and consistent performance. The film debuted with ₹8.5 crore during special previews, followed by a significant leap to ₹51.8 crore on the first day. The following days witnessed collections of ₹31.4 crore, ₹43.85 crore, and a peak of ₹55.9 crore on the fourth day. By the sixth day, the film had amassed ₹25.8 crore.
'Stree 2' sustained strong performance thereafter as well
The second week of Stree 2 saw a steady box office performance. The film collected ₹19.5 crore on day seven, followed by ₹16.8 crore and ₹17.50 crore on the eighth and ninth days respectively. A significant surge was observed on the 10th day with collections reaching ₹33 crore, while the 11th day brought in an impressive ₹42.4 crore. Despite new releases and its clash with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, the film has remained rock-solid.
