The Brazilian biopic I Am Still Here, directed by Walter Salles and based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva's memoir, bagged the Best International Feature Film at the 97th Academy Awards.
The film tells the real-life story of Eunice Paiva's quest to find her husband, Rubens Paiva, who disappeared during Brazil's military dictatorship in the 1970s.
It was also nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
