Ross Duffer, co-creator of the popular Netflix series Stranger Things, has recently shared intriguing behind-the-scenes images from the upcoming fifth season. The photos—posted on Instagram—depict characters Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) and Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) appearing anxious in the back of a car. Season 5 is anticipated to debut sometime in 2025, bringing closure to the journeys of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and the entire Hawkins group.

In season 4, Jonathan appeared to have less involvement compared to previous seasons, as he adopted a more laid-back lifestyle in California, losing his ambition along the way. This change, coupled with his long-distance relationship with Nancy, led to a slight drift between them. Additionally, hints in S4 suggested that Nancy's feelings for Steve might be rekindling. As a result, the fifth installment could potentially explore a love triangle scenario involving Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve, similar to that of S1.
