Pornstar Stormy Daniels '60 Minutes' interview fetches record views
The latest '60 Minutes' episode featuring adult film star Stormy Daniels has fetched the highest ratings for the programme in almost a decade. Stormy opened up about her sexual dalliance with President Donald Trump during the interview. The CBS's show had last garnered such massive views in 2008 when President-elect Barack Obama and Michelle Obama made their first post-election appearance.
The episode amassed a whopping 22 million views
Stormy's fiery interview went on to garner as many as 22 million views. The audience was hooked on to the television sets as Stormy, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, revealed that she was offered a hefty sum to keep mum about her sexual relationship with Trump. Only the 90th Academy Awards had fetched more views than Stormy's '60 Minutes' episode this year.
Stormy claimed she was threatened
While opening up to Anderson Cooper on the show, Stormy alleged that an unknown man had threatened her after she had gone vocal about her sexual encounters with Trump back in 2011.
