Shah Rukh Khan to collaborate with 'Pushpa' creator Sukumar!
What's the story
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly in talks with acclaimed South Indian director Sukumar for an upcoming rural political action drama.
The project, according to Mid-Day, will see Khan in a unique "raw, rustic and desi avatar." The film will also explore social issues like caste and class oppression. SRK might play an anti-hero character.
However, fans may have to wait until 2027 for this project, thanks to both Khan and Sukumar's busy schedules.
Schedule clash
Khan's availability delayed due to other projects
Both King Khan and the Pushpa creator are busy with several projects right now.
While Sukumar is set to direct RC 17 with Ram Charan, Pushpa 3: The Rampage, and another romantic drama with Charan, Khan has King and Pathaan 2 to get to.
Reportedly, Khan has told filmmakers willing to work with him to wait for two years before he can even think of their projects.
Collaboration potential
Sukumar's successful track record and Khan's global appeal
Sukumar, who has delivered successful films with actors such as Allu Arjun, is riding high on the success of the Pushpa franchise.
His unique storytelling style and tackling complex social issues make him the ideal director for this project.
Khan's global superstar image and mass appeal only further add to the magic of this collaboration.
The superstar has previously tasted success after collaborating with a major South director (Atlee in Jawan).
