We finally have a date for SRK's TED Talks!
We finally have a date for Shah Rukh Khan's new 'TED Talks'! The show was to go on air around Diwali, but was delayed. According to DNA, it will now start airing from December 10, every Sunday at 7 pm. A source said makers initially wanted it to be aired in the same slot as Aamir Khan's 'Satyamev Jayate' "but later decided against it".
Here's what the new show is going to be about
'TED Talks India' follows the format of the original 'TED Talks': people who have made a difference are invited to share their motivational experiences with the audience. Talking about the program, SRK had said, "People will share stories about changes in society, in life…and all of this will be integrated." "TED Talks India gives me a platform to just be me," he said.
Shooting for Anand L Rai's movie reportedly delayed TED Talks
The original schedule was postponed as SRK was reportedly busy shooting for his next project (yet unnamed) with Anand L Rai. Makers have now locked time slots for only seven episodes. They will take a call on more episodes depending on audience response. Meanwhile, speculations are rife that SRK will be seen as a dwarf in Rai's movie. We wish the superstar the best!
