All you need to know about Shah Rukh Khan's 'Salute'
A lot has already been said about Shah Rukh Khan's next project after 'Zero'. Although the superstar has remained tight-lipped, rumor mills have been abuzz with the reports of him signing the astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic titled 'Salute'. Now, as per a leading entertainment portal, King Khan will start shooting for the film in September. Here's more.
'Salute' will hit the screens in 2019
The report further states that 'Salute' will hit the screens in the second half of 2019 which means that SRK will have a single release in 2018 - 'Zero'. Apparently, it was Aamir Khan who convinced SRK to star in the biopic after he decided to opt out of the project for reasons best known to him.
Here's what a media report had earlier stated
"SRK wants to start shooting in September and continue for two months before he starts promoting 'Zero', which releases on Christmas. After that, he will resume 'Salute' shoot from January 2019. The film is expected to release next year," the report had said.
Meanwhile, 'Zero' will hit the screens on December 21
SRK and Aanand are looking to wrap up 'Zero' shoot by mid-2018. Slated to release on December 21, the film reunites SRK with his 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The first look and the teaser of the film were released a few months back and have been unanimously loved by one and all.
