Certainly, the audience is excited to watch this fresh jodi onscreen.
Interestingly, it was also reported that the movie will mark Salman's much-awaited reunion with Shah Rukh Khan.
But, contrary to reports, SRK is not a part of Inshallah.
Reunion
Audience wanted their Karan, Arjun to come together since long
Inshallah marks Salman's reunion with Bhansali after two decades, which was an interesting development.
So, when reports of SRK being a part of the film surfaced, excitement of their fans knew no limits.
After all, the audience has been waiting for their Karan (Salman) and Arjun (SRK) to come together on celluloid for years.
But looks like, the wait just got longer.
Collaboration
Hold on, Bhansali will cast SRK-Salman, but in another project
Talking about the same, a source told DNA, Bhansali is keen to direct SRK-Salman together.
However, it will be in some other project.
"Sanjay has three scripts. One is Inshallah, the other is on the lines of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, while the third is a two-hero period saga. He's talking to SRK-Salman for the second and the third scripts," the source added.
Excitement
Meanwhile, Alia is excited to work with Salman, Bhansali
Meanwhile, Alia is looking forward to working on Inshallah.
Notably, this will be her first project with both Salman and Bhansali.
Sharing her excitement about her new project, Alia tweeted, "Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can't wait to join them on this beautiful journey called Inshallah."
Role
Did you know: Alia got 'Inshallah' because of 'Kalank'
For the uninitiated, Alia bagged this Bhansali directorial because of her upcoming release Kalank.
"When SLB was planning the cast, he met Karan (Johar), who showed him rushes of Kalank. The Padmaavat filmmaker was impressed with Alia's grace and poise. He then met her and had an hour-long discussion," the source added.
Reportedly, Alia has completed the formalities and is officially aboard for Inshallah.
Shooting
'Inshallah' to hit floors in December this year
According to media reports, Inshallah is expected to hit the floors in December this year, as Bhansali wants Alia and Salman to finish off their respective professional commitments.
As of now, Alia is gearing up for Kalank, which will be releasing on April 17, 2019.
Meanwhile, Salman is looking forward to the release of Bharat on this year's Eid.
