Shah Rukh Khan to remake Kamal Haasan's 'Hey Ram'
Shah Rukh Khan and Kamal Haasan recently had a reunion of sorts during celebrated Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan's India visit. Just days after their meet, the news of SRK acquiring the remake rights of Haasan's 'Hey Ram' has emerged. The 2000 film featured both King Khan and Haasan.
The original was directed by Haasan himself
Haasan, who wrote as well as helmed the film, featured as the protagonist Saket Ram while SRK played a fellow archaeologist Amjad Ali Khan. The film was released in both Tamil and Hindi. 'Hey Ram' remains to be one of Haasan's best works till date and we hope SRK does full justice with the remake.
