'Srikanth' holds strong at box office on Day 12
The film Srikanth has demonstrated a steady performance at the box office, amassing an estimated ₹28.8cr India nett in its first 12 days. On its 12th day, the movie collected approximately ₹1.2cr India nett, based on preliminary estimates. The film kicked off with a successful start, earning ₹2.25cr on its opening day (May 10) and showed significant growth in the subsequent days with earnings of ₹4.2cr and ₹5.25cr on the second and third days, respectively.
'Srikanth' recovered momentum in second week
Despite experiencing a dip in earnings after the first weekend, with collections of ₹1.65cr, ₹1.6cr, and ₹1.5cr on the fourth, fifth, and sixth days, respectively, Srikanth managed to bounce back in its second week. The film regained momentum with collections of ₹1.5cr, ₹2.75cr, and ₹4cr on the eighth, ninth, and 10th days, respectively. This resurgence highlights the film's ability to maintain audience interest over an extended period.
'Srikanth' recorded varied occupancy rates across India
On Tuesday, Srikanth recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 10.16%. The occupancy rates fluctuated throughout the day with morning shows at 6.57%, afternoon shows at 10.79%, evening shows at 10.63%, and night shows peaking at 12.66%. In terms of regional Hindi (2D) occupancy, Mumbai recorded a rate of 12.75%, with Bengaluru at 13.75%, Pune at 13.25%, and Jaipur recording a rate of 12%.
Chennai showed impressive occupancy for 'Srikanth'
Despite having only 11 shows, Chennai recorded an impressive occupancy rate of 52.33% for Srikanth. This high rate indicates a strong reception in the southern region of India. The film, directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by T-Series and Chalk and Cheese Films, features Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F, Jyotika, and Sharad Kelkar in key roles.
