Sridevi saw rushes of 'Dhadak' before leaving for Dubai: Boney
More than anything, Sridevi wanted to see her daughter Janhvi Kapoor on the celluloid. She was waiting with bated breath for her debut film 'Dhadak' to hit the screens. But, unfortunately, destiny intervened and she left for the heavenly adobe just months before the film's release. Her producer-husband, Boney Kapoor said in a recent interview that the legendary actor did see rushes of 'Dhadak'.
She was relieved Janhvi didn't try to imitate her
Boney revealed he and Sridevi were worried that Janhvi would try and act like her mother but when they saw few scenes of her film, they felt proud. "Just before we left for Dubai, we saw the rushes of 'Dhadak'. Sri was relieved that Janhvi's acting style was not influenced by hers," Boney said.
Boney has instilled knowledge of cinema in both his daughters
Further, Boney said that he made sure that both his daughters are well-informed about the classic films from India as well as from other parts of the world. About Janhvi, he said that she is clued into the best actors and cinema from the world over and can talk about the films of Nutan, Meena Kumari, Nargis, Waheeda Rehman and her mother.
Janhvi is currently immersed in 'Dhadak' promotions
The 21-year-old recently appeared for her first-ever one-on-one interview with a Hindi news channel. Besides that, she has been touring cities with her co-star Ishaan Khatter. The audience, so far, has loved their chemistry.
