Ever since Netflix started promoting Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, rumors about Bengal legend, Sourav Ganguly appearing for a cameo role swirled. Even creator Neeraj Pandey had to address the rumors during a press conference.
Finally, we know if the former Indian cricketer will be part of the show.
Although he won't be appearing in the upcoming series, he will be promoting the show.
The streamer released a fun teaser with the ex-captain dressed as a cop on Monday.

Ganguly's statement
'This collaboration with Netflix has been an absolute delight'
Ganguly expressed his excitement for the project, saying, "As someone who has always been passionate about thrillers and cop dramas, Khakee as a franchise is definitely one of my favorites."
He continued, "So when Netflix approached me, I was excited to collaborate with them for the newest installment of Khakee - The Bengal Chapter, in the capacity of a superfan. And I truly feel that."
Shot extensively in Kolkata, the series boasts a gripping narrative and stellar performances.

'Khakee: The Bengal Chapter' boasts an impressive cast
Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is produced by Friday Storytellers and co-directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray.
The star-studded cast includes Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Chitrangda Singh, Parambrata Chatterjee, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das.
The series will premiere on Thursday.
