Amid water crisis, Rajinikanth's daughter shares pool pictures with son
What's the story
Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth had to pull down a couple of photos she clicked with her son, Ved, which showed them enjoying in a swimming pool.
The reason for that is the backlash she received on social media with many pointing out that she's being insensitive given that Chennai is reeling under severe water crisis.
The pertinent question is - how are they so tone-deaf?

Meanwhile, water crisis in Chennai hasn't seen any respite
Chennai's water crisis, meanwhile, sees no respite yet.
Monsoon is yet to hit the city, and heat is grueling. All four reservoirs that supply the city with water- including the Chembarambakkam lake, Chennai's largest source of drinking water- have turned dry.
Furthermore, groundwater has also depleted, leaving residents heavily reliant on private water tankers, that are reportedly increasing prices to profit off the drought.
