Per reports, Madekwe will portray the trusted confidant of Turner's character, while Fortune-Lloyd essays a detective with a gambling addiction who is determined to crack the case of this unconventional heist.
'Haven' marks screenwriting debut of S.A. Nikias
Haven is the screenwriting debut of S.A. Nikias, author of the acclaimed crime novel series The City Blues. Three episodes of the series will be directed by Sam Miller (May I Destroy You), who will also serve as a producer. The show is being developed by Drama Republic, a Britain-based production company that has previously collaborated with Amazon and Prime Video on productions such as The English, starring Emily Blunt.

Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed his enthusiasm for the new show stating: "This attention-grabbing series, written by Nikias, is a uniquely thrilling ride and serves as an ideal addition to round out our Pan-English slate implemented by Rola Bauer and her team." Meanwhile, apart from Haven, Turner's recent roles include the true-crime drama series The Staircase, the jewel heist film Joan, and the upcoming Gothic horror film The Dreadful.
