Sonu Sood's wife, Sonali, her sister, and nephew were injured in a car accident late on Monday night.
The accident happened at the Wardha Road Viaduct bridge near Sonegaon in Nagpur when they were going to Byramji Town from the Nagpur airport.
Their vehicle hit a truck from behind.
Medical report
Hospital update: 'Stable condition,' no internal injuries detected
According to Mid-Day, Max Hospital in Nagpur, in a statement, said Sonali, her sister, and nephew were all conscious when they arrived and had stable vitals.
"They had sustained multiple abrasions and bruises and were thoroughly evaluated for any internal injuries, none of which were found," they said.
After first aid, the nephew was discharged, while Sonali and her sister remain under observation but are recovering well.
Investigation update
Police report filed, but no case registered yet
The Sonegaon Police have lodged a police station diary entry on the basis of MLC information but haven't registered a case, as no complainant has come forward.
Officials disclosed that Sonali had come to Nagpur from Kolkata, and her relatives, Sunita and Siddharth, had picked her up.
The accident happened when their car was trailing another car, which overtook a slow-moving truck, causing Siddharth to rear-end it.

Fortunately, the airbags deployed during the accident, preventing the passengers from sustaining serious injuries.
