Almost entire nation was glued to Sonam and Anand Ahuja's wedding and took note of every little detail of the star-studded affair. However, not many would know that Sonam was initially supposed to tie the knot in March. But, she postponed her big day to May for her BFF and 'Veere Di Wedding' co-star Swara Bhaskar. Here's why.
Reason
Swara's brother was also getting married in March
Swara, in a recent interview, revealed that Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor had finalized March 12 as Sonam-Anand's wedding date. Incidentally, Swara's brother was also getting married on the same date. Therefore, to make sure that Swara attends her wedding, Sonam postponed it to May. The 'Nil Battey Sannata' actor was there with Sonam all throughout her wedding festivities from May 6 to 8.

The couple who was in love with each other for several years finally exchanged wedding vows on May 8. Their wedding was attended by who's who of Bollywood, making it the biggest celebrity event of 2018, so far. They are now planning on settling down in London and has reportedly bought a house there too.
