Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja in quest of their dream house
All set to exchange the wedding vows on May 8, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are said to be looking for a new house in Mumbai. The much-in-love couple was snapped on the busy streets of Bandra, apparently hunting for their dream home. Later, they were also photographed outside a clinic. Sonam and Anand's wedding was confirmed this week by their families.
Anand recently landed in Mumbai for the D-day
Sonam's soon-to-be husband Anand recently arrived in Mumbai from New York to indulge in pre-wedding preparations. A Delhi-based businessman, Anand runs his own indie label called 'Bhane'. He also started India's first multi-brand sneaker boutique, 'VegNonVeg'. Anand is said to have met Sonam in 2014 through fashion designer Pernia Qureshi.
Sonam-Anand never accepted their relationship in public
Over the years, Sonam and Anand were often spotted together at events and family gatherings but never acknowledged their relationship in public. Speculations regarding their wedding were doing the rounds for months until their families released a statement and confirmed the same. As per reports, it will a traditional Indian wedding and will include Mehendi and Sangeet functions as well.
Here's the statement by the Kapoor and the Ahujas
"The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request for privacy," the statement read.
