Newlyweds Sonam-Anand to shift base to London
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja continue to hog the limelight even days after their traditional and fun-filled wedding festivities. The latest update about the newlyweds is that they are planning to shift base to London. Sonam herself confirmed the development in an interview. Reports further suggested that the couple has already bought a new house there.
"Been shuttling between Mumbai and London for last two years"
In an interaction with a publication, Sonam revealed, "I have been shuttling between Mumbai and London for the past two years. It seems no one noticed this so far." Sonam assured that she will continue to work in movies despite relocating to London. "My life isn't going to change much; what has been happening for the past two years will continue," she said.
Sonam was recently under fire for changing her surname
The 'Neerja' actor was at the receiving end for adopting Anand's surname. Sonam had updated her name on her social media profiles immediately after the wedding ceremony on May 8. She then gave a stern reply to her haters for targeting her over an unnecessary issue. Amidst the uproar, Anand too changed his name to Anand S Ahuja on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Sonam is gearing up for 'Veere Di Wedding' release
Sonam, along with her 'Veere Di Wedding' gang - Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania - is currently busy in the promotional activities of the film. The Shashanka Ghosh directorial will hit the screens on June 1.
