Bendre is currently in New York for her cancer treatment, but she never allowed the disease to diminish her will to celebrate life. She celebrated Diwali with husband Goldie Bahl and son Ranveer in New York in a simple way. "It was quite an unconventional one... We didn't have Indian clothes, we had a small puja... But it was all heart," she wrote.
