Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha has reportedly sold her luxurious Bandra West apartment for ₹22.5 crore.
Located in the 81 Aureate complex, this was the same home where she married Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, 2024.
Iqbal, who debuted in Notebook (2019), comes from a construction business family. A source reportedly revealed she sold the house to move into a larger apartment in a building Iqbal is developing.

Sinha's now-sold apartment had a carpet area of about 4,211 sq. ft. and a built-up area of about 4,632 sq. ft., according to IGR documents reviewed by Square Yards.
The sale also included three car parking spaces, a stamp duty payment of ₹1.35 crore, and registration charges of ₹30,000.
Further analysis by Square Yards revealed that Sinha had originally purchased the same apartment in March 2020 for ₹14 crore.
The recent sale price marks a whopping 61% increase in value.
Decision to buy
Sinha's decision to buy house was influenced by her father
In a past interview, Sinha shared that her father, Shatrughan Sinha, inspired her decision to buy a home.
She said, "It was because of my dad that I wanted to buy my own house. He fondly talks about the first house that he bought after he came to Mumbai from Patna, which he still owns. It's a 1BHK apartment at Bandstand (Bandra). For him, it's like his palace. Seeing his excitement, I always wanted to buy a house."

Sinha made her Bollywood debut in 2010 with the blockbuster film Dabangg, opposite Salman Khan. She has since proved her mettle in films like Lootera, Akira, and Mission Mangal.

Apart from acting, Sinha is also an entrepreneur and co-founded a beauty brand called 'SOEZI' which specializes in press-on nails.
