Sonakshi Sinha reveals brothers were jealous of her growing up

Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha recently opened up about her relationship with her elder brothers, Luv and Kush Sinha.
Speaking to Hauterrfly, she revealed that they were always jealous of her in childhood.
"Main sabse choti, ghar ki ladki, sabse laadli, toh bhaiyonn ko jalan toh hoti thi toh mujhe padti thi (I was the youngest child and the daughter of the house, so I was the most adored. My brothers used to be jealous and would beat me up)."

Sinha also admitted that physical altercations, or "hatha pai (fistfights)," were a common occurrence between the siblings during their younger years.

To recall, the absence of Luv and Kush from Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal in June 2024 sparked rumors of a rift between the siblings.

Luv also took to Instagram to publicly defend his decision to skip Sinha's wedding.
He wrote, "Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won't change the fact that for me, my family will always come first."
Rift speculations intensified when his post celebrating parents' wedding anniversary omitted Sinha.

Father Shatrughan also spoke up
Their father, Shatrughan Sinha, also reacted on the same during an interview with Retro Lehren.
He said, "I won't complain. They may still not be so mature. I do understand their pain and confusion. Maybe, if I was their age, I might have had a similar reaction to it."
He hinted that their reaction could be due to immaturity or cultural reasons.
