Troll calls Sonakshi 'Salman Khan's chamchi'. Here's her reply
In her Bollywood journey so far, Sonakshi Sinha has had her fair share of encounters with online trolls targeting her relentlessly. But, she also knows how to shut them. Recently, when a certain troll called her Salman Khan's chamchi, the actress came up with a classy and befitting reply. Sonakshi and Salman have worked together in all three movies of popular Dabangg series.
'Yeah well, he (Salman) gave me my first film'
In an interview with Koimoi, Sonakshi was asked to read online 'mean comments' against her. One of the trolls had mercilessly written that, "Sonakshi is the biggest chamchi [sycophant] of Salman Khan." To this, an unaffected Sonakshi quickly responded, "Yeah well, he gave me my first film... hu mai, kya karloge?" Notably, Sonakshi made her Bollywood acting debut with Dabangg (2010), opposite Salman.
'Bas papa ki wajah se aayi hai...': Other mean comments
There were many mean comments that came Sonakshi's way. One read, "I hate Sonakshi so much I'm afraid I might smash my TV screen." Meanwhile, another user said he hated fat girls like Sonakshi, while a certain user alleged that she lacks talent, and came in the industry owing to her father (veteran Shatrughan Sinha). But she owned them all like a boss!
Sonakshi has been targeted by online trolls, time and again
However, this is not the first time that Sonakshi has had to deal with comments like these. In fact, the 32-year-old is often targeted for not having a typically attractive body like other Bollywood lead actresses. In another instance, she was brutally trolled for failing to answer a basic question about the Hindu epic Ramayana, on the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Sonakshi set to return as Rajjo Pandey in 'Dabangg 3'
Separately, on the work front, Sonakshi is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie, the third installment in the famous cop-drama franchise, Dabangg 3. The film also stars Salman, Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill and Sudeep. Directed by Prabhu Deva, it is set to hit the theaters on December 20. Apart from that, she will soon feature in ambitious war-drama film Bhuj: The Pride of India.
