'Rebel Moon': Sofia Boutella discusses hardest part of filming sequel
Sofia Boutella, who reprised her role as Kora in Zack Snyder's latest sci-fi saga Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver, recently shared her filming experiences. She admitted that convincingly portraying a character skilled in firearms was one of her main challenges. Speaking with ComicBook, Boutella stated, "The challenge, for me, was really about...holding the gun in a way to where it was believable that I've done that my entire life."
Boutella felt intimidated by the film's grand scale
During the interview, Boutella revealed that she initially felt intimidated by the grand scale of Rebel Moon. "I was a bit intimidated by that. The other part is the epicness of it, the size of it all. Us, as actors, to step onto sets like that, I think it only [improved] our performances because it was just all there for us." The film continues the narrative of Kora and her comrades defending their newfound homeland against the Motherworld.
