Gal Gadot is pure evil in 'Snow White' first-teaser look
Disney has released the trailer for its much-anticipated live-action remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The film, directed by Marc Webb, features Rachel Zegler in the titular role of Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. This modern adaptation is a reimagining of Disney's original 1937 animated classic, which narrates the tale of Snow White escaping her envious stepmother, the Evil Queen.
New adaptation introduces fresh elements to the classic tale
This new adaptation introduces Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman, who is unable to kill Snow White as commanded by the Evil Queen. A fresh character named Jonathan is introduced, played by Andrew Burnap. The film incorporates songs from the original movie along with new additions composed by songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Moreover, Zegler's Snow White will not be rescued by a prince but will aspire to become a leader.
