    What's the story

Once, Smriti Irani was the most sought after "bahu" (daughter-in-law) on Indian television and then she jumped into politics.

In 2019 elections, she defeated Congress President Rahul Gandhi in Amethi and was made the Minister of Women and Child Development and Textiles.

But Smriti still loves having fun and her latest Instagram post, which featured BJP MP Darshana Jardosh, is proof.

    Social Media

Kya se kya ho gaya dekhte dekhte: Smriti

Smriti's latest post, where she made fun of her transformation, became a craze on social media.

In the first picture, she was seen in a conversation with Jardosh. By the looks of it, the two women seemed indulged in a serious conversation.

Smriti posted another picture and pointed out how things have changed.

She wrote: Kya se kya ho gaya dekhte dekhte.

    Background

    Bouncing from Television to politics

Everyone remembers Smriti for her brilliant appearance in one of the most celebrated TV shows, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

It was Ekta Kapoor from Balaji Telefilms, who made her "Tulsi Virani" of Indian television from Smriti, which later became a household name.

After that, things changed forever when she entered into politics and joined BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) in 2003.
