Arjun Kapoor to play a militant in 'Singham Again'
The upcoming third installment of the Singham franchise, titled Singham Again, is set to draw inspiration from the Indian epic Ramayana. The film will continue its exploration of the theme of good versus evil, embodied by Ajay Devgn's character Bajirao Singham. A source told Mid-Day that director Rohit Shetty has sought inspiration from Ramayana for this new chapter in his popular series.
'Singham Again' to feature a star-studded cast
Singham Again boasts a star-studded cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh. In an intriguing twist, Kapoor's character is reportedly modeled after Raavan from Ramayana. "Arjun plays a militant in the actioner. Ajay's Singham, accompanied by his sena of cops, will be seen heading to Sri Lanka to lock horns with the villain," revealed an insider source.
'Singham Again' will clash with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'
Singham Again will clash with Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, with both films slated for release on Diwali. The latter stars Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, and Kartik Aaryan, and is the third film in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. It follows after 2022's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a massive blockbuster.
