'Simmba': Ranveer gives preview of 'biggest song' of his career
After portraying the menacing Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat', Ranveer Singh is returning to his favorite genre of masala entertainers with Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba'. The young superstar has been teasing his fans with pictures and short clips from the sets ever since the film went on floors. And today, he gave a glimpse of what he dubbed his career's 'sabse bada gaana'.

It is reportedly the film's title track
The song that the 'Simmba' team is currently shooting for is reportedly its title track, 'Aala Re Aala Simmba Aala'. As can be seen in the clip, it is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. The film will also have the revamped version of superhit 90s song 'Aankh Maare' from 'Tere Mere Sapne'.
Sonu Sood plays the baddie in Shetty's cop film
Sonu Sood and Ranveer will face off in the keenly awaited film which also features Sara Ali Khan and Ashutosh Rana. 'Simmba' is slated to release on the last Friday of 2018, i.e. December 28th.
'Simmba' is an official adaptation of a Telugu film
Bankrolled by Karan Johar, 'Simmba' is an official adaptation of Telugu film 'Temper'. Ranveer is playing a notorious cop named Sangram Bhalerao. His character is said to be on the lines of Ajay Devgn's Bajirao Singham from 'Singham'. If media reports are to be believed, the 'Raid' actor will also be seen doing a cameo in the film.
