Director's dream
Murugadoss's long-awaited collaboration with Khan
Murugadoss and Khan had been trying to work together since 2006 when the filmmaker wanted to direct Khan in Ghajini. But for various reasons, the project didn't see the light of the day until 2025.
"I met him before Ghajini, and then a couple of times after Ghajini too with different scripts. But things didn't work out. Finally, one day Sajid (Nadiadwala) sir called and this opportunity came up," he shared.
Story secrecy
'Sikandar' plot details remain under wraps
While Murugadoss remained tight-lipped about the plot of Sikandar, he assured fans that it is a mass film, designed to satisfy both Khan's fans and family audiences.
He said, "I can't reveal the story, but it is a mass film that will satisfy Salman sir fans, as well as film lovers and family audiences."
The film also stars Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar.
Meanwhile, Nadiadwala will be sending the movie for certification soon.
