
'Sikandar' advance booking: Salman Khan starrer has already collected ₹6.22cr
What's the story
The much-anticipated action thriller Sikandar, headlined by Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, arrives in theaters on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film has already begun creating buzz with its advance ticket sales.
Within hours of opening on Tuesday, around 47,471 tickets were sold nationally, according to Sacnilk's early estimates.
Currently, with a total advance booking gross of ₹1.93 crore, 67,533 tickets have been sold.

'Sikandar' ticket sales: Delhi leads, followed by Maharashtra
When the block seats are included, Sikandar's haul goes up to ₹6.22cr as of now.
Delhi led the charge in ticket sales with a gross of ₹38L, followed closely by the state of Maharashtra at ₹34L. But when block seats are considered, Maharashtra (₹1.25cr) overtakes Delhi (₹1.13cr).
Other regions, such as Rajasthan, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir are also showing positive signs.

'Sikandar' trailer release and star-studded cast
The trailer for Sikandar, released shortly before the advance bookings began, received a massive response from the audience.
With the star-studded cast of Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Anjini Dhawan, and Prateik Babbar, Sikandar has everyone excited.
The movie's story follows Sikandar, a man on a mission, who is on the Maharashtra Police's radar for his Robinhood-like activities.
Film cuts
'Sikandar' faced cuts from Central Board of Film Certification
Sikandar, too, came under the Central Board of Film Certification's scissors as the makers had to trim the film by 14 minutes.
As per Bollywood Hungama, 26 scenes were cut, including a 2-minute 26-second scene with the dialogue "Chaar miss call...chalo Rajkot," and a 4-minute scene with the dialogue "Aa gaye aa gaye...bad husband."
A 1-minute 12-second scene with "Usse leke aata hoon" was also omitted.
