Popular TV actress Shweta Tiwari, who has just made her small screen comeback after a gap of three years, says she has finally found peace in her personal life. Notably, Shweta was recently in news for her turbulent relationship with husband Abhinav Kohli, after she and her daughter reportedly accused him of domestic violence. Here's more on what she said.
I was going through severe pain, Shweta said
Opening up about her current situation, the 39-year-old actress told TOI, "I want to tell everyone I was going through a difficult time but now I am in a happy space." Further, comparing her marriage with Kohli to a poisonous infection, Shweta said, "I was going through severe pain because of an infection, I got it operated and got it out of my body."
If one part goes wrong, I won't stop living: Shweta
"If one part of my life goes wrong, I won't stop leading my life. I have to look after my life, my kids, their school, their doctor, my house, my phone and electric bills. There's so much going in my life..," she added.
In August, Shweta filed a domestic violence complaint against Kohli
The troubles in her marriage came to light after Shweta filed a case of domestic violence against Kohli, alleging harassment toward herself and her daughter from first marriage, Palak. Subsequently, Kohli was taken into police custody. Shweta was earlier married to actor Raja Chaudhary. The marriage lasted nine years before she filed for divorce in 2007, reportedly due to Raja's alcoholism and violence.
However, the troll army attacked Shweta for another marriage failure
Unfortunately, online trolls, who find more interest in other people's lives than their own, attacked Shweta and asked how could her second marriage go wrong. In response, Shweta said, "I want to ask them (trolls), why can't things go wrong. At least, I have the courage to face it and come out in open and talk about the problem."
