Shweta Tiwari faces domestic violence again, files complaint against husband
Shweta Tiwari, popularly known as Prerna from Kasautii Zindagii Kay, has filed a police complaint against her second husband Abhinav Kohli. According to media reports, Shweta accused Abhinav of domestic violence, and alleged that he hit her daughter Palak, in a fit of rage, under the influence of alcohol. Reportedly, following Shweta's complaint, Abhinav was brought to the police station for interrogation. Here's more.

As per a SpotboyE report, the 38-year-old actress reached Samta Nagar Police Station, Kandivali (E) late yesterday night to file a complaint against Abhinav. She was accompanied by her daughter and mother. In her complaint, Shweta mentioned about Abhinav's drinking issues. However, after the police intervened, the couple, reportedly, chose to resolve their differences amicably, and did not opt for a legal way.
Reports of their troubled marriage isn't new
To jog your memory, this isn't the first time that reports about trouble in Shweta and Abhinav's paradise surfaced. Earlier, in 2018, it was reported that the couple was dealing with major issues in their married life, especially regarding their respective professions. Reports also suggested that they were staying separately. However, both Shweta and Abhinav had refuted these reports, denying of any issue.

"I felt so weird that just because my husband was away for some time, people found a reason to gossip and therefore I decided to stop giving any explanations to anyone," Shweta said. "There is no truth to the rumors of trouble in Abhinav and my paradise. Everything is fine between us and we are happy together," the actress had informed further.

Notably, Abhinav happens to be Shweta's second husband. She was earlier married to Raja Chaudhary, with whom she had a daughter, Palak. The couple, who got married in 1998, parted ways in 2007. However, they were officially divorced in 2012. Post her divorce, Shweta spoke about her terrible married life and said, "I've been through hell. I was really desperate to get a divorce."
