Review: 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' is funny without cliches
Coming from the team of 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' series, 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' is as quirky as its name. The Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh starrer plays around with the theme of 'Bromance vs Romance' and the ample number of gags ensure that there's never a dull moment in the film. Here's why you should watch it this weekend.
Kartik Aaryan is in his top form in this one
Kartik Aaryan has taken his comic timing a step ahead from the much loved 'PKP' series. The character of Sonu seems tailor-made for him and he, with much ease, steals the show from his co-stars. Additionally, Sunny Singh manages to evoke laughter with his expressions. His bromance with Kartik is surely the highlight. Nushrat's charm too has multiplied with 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.'
Alok Nath is the surprise package
Alok Nath breaks out of his image of a 'sankaari babuji' and how. His character is full of sass and has some of the best punch lines in the film. Kudos to director Luv Ranjan for casting him in such a contrasting role. The humor quotient of the film benefits hugely from his presence.
Luv Ranjan gets it right yet again
Luv Ranjan has further cemented his place as one of the finest rom-com directors of this generation with 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.' He comes up with an equally funny take on relationships every time and manages to tickle our funny bone. He certainly forms a formidable team with Kartik and Nushrat. Go laugh your hearts out this weekend with Sonu, Titu and Sweety.
