'Four More Shots Please!' team reunites for Season 3 shoot
The third season of the popular Amazon Prime Video series Four More Shots Please! has gone to the shooting floors, announced showrunner Rangita Pritish Nandy. She revealed how coming back to the sets after one tough year felt like "coming home." The all-women show starring Kirti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, and Bani J, is currently being shot in Mumbai under strict COVID-19 restrictions.
They will be shooting in Mumbai till end of May
Nandy spoke about the energy on the sets and the "wonderful sense of warmth and shared history" that persists. After finally beginning the shoot last weekend, the creator said the unit was feeling "alive" with everything coming back on track. They will be shooting in Mumbai till the end of May, after which they have another Indian city and certain overseas locations in mind.
'Using private mode of travel, not sharing food or liquids'
Mumbai has been hit with a fresh wave of COVID-19 as cases continue to soar in Maharashtra. Under such conditions, Nandy is making sure to be extra cautious. The team has been "testing exhaustively" and "masking for safety," she said. They are "using the private mode of travel and not sharing food or liquids. We're living in a bio-bubble," Nandy added.
Third season was announced back in May 2020
This January, reports said that the show will start its shoot soon as was informed by Kulhari. Gupta had said last May that Season 3 "is happening," but the shooting got stalled probably due to COVID-19. As is natural, expectations are high for this installment with the first scoring an International Emmy nomination and the second becoming Prime India's most-watched Indian original of 2020.
