A member of one of the richest families in the world, Shloka Mehta Ambani, is the daughter-in-law of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, she completed her schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. She later attended Princeton University in the United States and the London School of Economics and Political Science to pursue her higher studies. She also holds a Master's degree in law. However, since she was interested in business, Ambani joined her father's company Rosy Blue Diamonds, in 2014 as the director of the company. Due to her keen interest in social work, she co-founded the ConnectFor organization in 2015 to help various NGOs financially. She and Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash studied at the same school, and they were good friends. After a relationship of nine years, they got married at the Jio World Centre in Bandra, Mumbai, in March 2019. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in December 2020.
