Shilpa Shetty on her comeback: "It's all new for me"
Shilpa Shetty, who will be making her Bollywood comeback with Sabbir Khan directorial Nikamma, is excited about returning on the big screen after 13 years. According to media reports, she is expected to begin shooting for the movie soon, and is busy preparing for her role. "I'm readying up for the film and preparing in other ways, it's all new for me," Shilpa added.

"I will start shooting for the film soon. I am enjoying the process. I think this is the right time since it is all about content now. I really liked the script of the film," the 44-year-old actress was quoted as saying.

Reportedly, Shilpa will be seen playing the role of a writer in Nikamma. "I loved my role as it's something that I've never attempted before. I can't wait for the audience to see me in a new avatar," she added. Furthermore, Shilpa feels that Sabbir will be presenting her "in a different manner" in the movie, which also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia.
I think once an actor always an actor, says Shilpa
Notably, this will be her first full-fledged movie after 2007. Her last movie was Apne alongside Sunny and Bobby Deol. Talking about her comeback, Shilpa said that an actor can't stay away from acting for a long time. "I think once an actor always an actor, and once you taste the blood you cannot stay away from it for a long time," she asserted.

Meanwhile, Sabbir is also elated to have Shilpa aboard for Nikamma. "Shilpa is a much-loved name in every household and she was very clear right at the onset that her comeback would have to be with a worthy role. It's a dynamic part and I am glad to be working with her and bringing her back for the fans, who miss her," he said.
