Shilpa Shetty to make her Bollywood comeback after 12 years

Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who was last seen as a judge on Super Dancer 3, is all set to make her much-awaited comeback on the big screen after a gap of 12 years.
According to media reports, she has been roped in for producer Ramesh Taurani's next, wherein she will be playing a pivotal role.
The movie will also feature Yami Gautam and Diljit Dosanjh.
Shooting
Shilpa to start shooting once she returns from vacation
According to a report published in Mumbai Mirror, Shilpa will start shooting next month.
"Shilpa plays a writer in the film. After a month-long holiday in London and Greece, she returns to Mumbai in the first week of August and will immediately start shooting for the film. She's really excited," a source said.
Notably, this will be her full-fledged role after 12 years.

To note, her last movie was 2007 release Apne with Sunny Deol, Dharmendra and Bobby Deol. Shilpa was also seen in a special appearance in Om Shanti Om title track, Shut Up And Bounce (Dostana) and Tu Mere Type Ka Nahi in her production Dishkiyaoon.

Earlier in May, Shilpa had written on Facebook about her Bollywood journey.
"I reached a point where after a few films, my career hit a lull. I tried but it always felt like I was lagging behind. It's not easy to be celebrated one moment and ignored the next. I remember there were producers, who without any reason, threw me out of their films."

Fact: One of the last movies written by Neeraj Vora
Getting back to the movie, Taurani revealed that the movie will be a comedy flick.
Interestingly, it's one of the last movies written by late screenplay writer Neeraj Vora, who had also penned Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
The movie will also be the directorial debut of Aziz Mirza's son Haroon, who was an assistant director in movies like Paheli, Yes Boss etc.
