'Dhawan Karenge': Shikhar Dhawan to host chat show on JioCinema
After his mind-blowing adventures on the 22 yards, cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is venturing into the world of hosting with his new chat show, Dhawan Karenge. The show will reportedly feature candid conversations with popular celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Harbhajan Singh, Bhuvan Bam, and Rishabh Pant. Expressing his excitement about this new journey with Da One Entertainment, Dhawan likened it to "stepping onto a pristine field, brimming with anticipation and thrill."
'Dhawan Karenge' will 'fuse diverse industries'
Dhawan elaborated on the show, stating it aims to "artfully fuse the essence of diverse industries like movies, sports, spirituality, and the business world." He said in a statement, "As I dive into this venture, I'm poised to bring forth my A-game, infusing the talk show with my distinct persona and energy that cricket lovers recognize. It's not just about entertainment; it's a personal connection with my fans, a chance to unveil facets previously unseen and foster genuine connections."
'Dhawan Karenge' to feature interactive segments
The chat show will also include interactive segments where guests will engage in shayari banters and playful recreations of Dhawan's iconic pose. It is set to be available on JioCinema from May 20 onwards, offering viewers a unique blend of entertainment and personal connection with the cricketer-host. "Each episode will unfold like a fresh innings, with its narrative and ambiance, eagerly awaiting to be shared with our viewers!," he added.

Notably, the chat show is right up Dhawan's alley considering his penchant for music, dance, and Instagram Reels. Last year, he had a special appearance in the Hindi film Double XL, starring Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha. It is streaming on Netflix.
