Actor and choreographer Shantanu Maheshwari is all set to star in a romance-drama show on OTT alongside Medha Rana. The show, titled Ishq in the Air, is expected to premiere by the end of September. According to a source close to the production, cited by Hindustan Times, the shooting for Ishq in the Air has already been wrapped up. The series was filmed in various locations including Indore, Kutch, and Mumbai. "The locations had to be this way, keeping in mind the changing nature of the scenes," the insider revealed. The show is set to premiere on a mainstream OTT platform.
Maheshwari's character frequently travels to Mumbai for love
Ishq in the Air is described as a "typical romantic drama," with Maheshwari portraying the role of a lover. His character hails from Indore but often travels to Mumbai to meet his love interest, reportedly. "Shantanu's character belongs to Indore, but he keeps traveling and going back and forth to meet his girl, the love of his life, in Mumbai," the source shared. Rana—who made her OTT debut with the 2022 show London Files—will be starring opposite Maheshwari.
