Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been slammed by the mother of Arhhan Singh, the man they shamed on the Internet for littering on streets a couple of days back.
In an elongated Instagram post, his mother Gittanjali Elizabeth called the couple's act a "cheap stunt in the name of cleanliness."
She also wrote that she is now concerned for her son's safety.

Gittanjali also accused them of violating his son's privacy
Gittanjali went on a rant against Virushka in her post and called them out for "violating basic rights to privacy".
"You may be #AnushkaSharma or #viraatkohli in your house or on screen & the field...but on the streets you are just a citizen trying to correct another... DO IT WITH KINDNESS ....fear karma," she wrote.
After being subjected to heavy online backlash, Arhhan yesterday took to Instagram to raise his voice against Virat and Anushka.
"While I'm apologetic for my carelessness, Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli, a little etiquette and politeness in your dialogue wouldn't have made you a lesser star," he wrote.
He also called Virat a trashy mind for recording the entire episode and posting it online.
The Internet stands divided over Virushka's actions
On Twitter, people have mixed views on the couple's act. While some supported them for being considerate towards the environment, others said that they did not need to put up the video on social media.
