Shakira surprises fans with unexpected Coachella appearance; announces World Tour
The first weekend of the global music festival Coachella was marked by a surprise performance from Colombian superstar Shakira. The singer made an unanticipated appearance during Bizarrap's Friday evening set, joining the DJ halfway through his performance. Dressed in a vibrant red-orange dress and oversized aviator sunglasses, Shakira performed multiple popular tracks. Her performance took a dramatic turn when she revealed her upcoming tour plans!
Shakira's upcoming tour titled 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour'
In the middle of her performance, Shakira paused the music to address the audience in Spanish and English. Revealing her upcoming world tour, the singer shed light on an earlier cryptic message: "La loba se viene" (The wolf is coming). As she announced the tour, the message illuminated the screen behind the stage, revealing the title Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. This title mirrors her latest namsake album—her first release since 2017.
Tour to kick off in November
"Finally we're going on tour—starting here, in November!" Shakira shouted. "Starting here, this November, in this city! Can't wait!" Earlier, reports indicated that Shakira's team had vigorously pursued a headlining slot for her at this year's festival, but their efforts ultimately fizzled away. However, Shakira's appearance during Biza's set served as confirmation that there was no animosity between Shakira and the festival organizers.
