So far, the movie has collected Rs. 88.37 crore, which is a massive feat. That's because most movies generally fail to collect a good amount on a working day. It was released on 3,123 screens in India.

With a record-opening of Rs. 20.21 crore, the movie is now this year's fourth biggest Hindi opener at the box office. On the next day of its release, it earned Rs. 22.71 crore, while on the third day, it earned Rs. 27.91 crore. According to reports, if the movie keeps maintaining its pace, it could cross the Rs. 100 crore mark by this Wednesday.
Many reviewers criticized 'Kabir Singh' for showing "toxic masculinity"
While the team probably is celebrating its success, some found the movie to be an "epitome of toxic masculinity." Shahid's violent character and his will to kiss Kiara's character without her consent wasn't well received by some. However, despite all this, it is doing great at the box office.
