Shahid, Mira to move into their Rs. 56cr-worth house, soon
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, who recently celebrated their daughter Misha's third birthday, are all set to move into their dream house soon. According to reports, Shahid's new abode, which is an 8,000 square-feet apartment, will be ready by the end of this year. Reportedly, this new posh apartment is a sea-facing duplex in Worli, and was booked in July last year. Here's more.
A source confirms the actor's new possession and its development
"Shahid had been looking to move into a space that would be a better fit for his family of four. And this over 8,000 square-feet apartment is expected to be ready for possession by the year-end," a source reportedly told Mumbai Mirror.

Interestingly, Shahid's new apartment will have a big balcony to give a perfect view of the city's skyline. "Shahid was looking for an unrestricted view of the city, and the 500 square-feet balcony in the new house faces the Bandra-Worli sea link," the source added. Besides, his new place will offer several luxurious amenities like swimming pool, spa, gym, ballrooms, etc.
He bought the house for Rs. 55cr, paid stunning stamp-duty
Shahid will also get six parking spots in the building. The actor's dream house is certainly making its way to the headlines not just for its luxuries, but also for its whopping price. Reportedly, the Padmaavat star bought this new abode for Rs. 55.60 crore. The reports further claim that Shahid also paid Rs. 2.91 crore as stamp duty to the government for registration.
Shahid and Mira's new house is designed by Gauri Khan
Shahid and Mira are certainly looking forward to moving into their new apartment, and they have appointed Gauri Khan for handling the decors. To note, Shahid isn't the first celebrity to own an abode in Worli. Celebrities like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar will be among Shahid's new neighbors.
Shahid is yet to announce his next project
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid is basking in the success of his last release, Kabir Singh. The movie made a lifetime collection of Rs. 330 crore and emerged as the 11th highest-grossing film worldwide. Post the movie's success, Shahid has certainly become the go-to-guy for producers. Although he is rumored to be in talks for several projects, an official announcement is yet-to-be made.
